I was talking to Sprint product manager and she said the Tour 2 might be out this Christmas because there stock on current Tours is low. She said that the product change will not be heavily advertised as the Tour 2 but will be placed in the phone lineup on or around December 15. Can anyone from Sprint verify this?

I want the Tour 2!!!! I went to T-Mobile just to try out the trackpad on the Bold 9700 the day it came out and it was awesome I want a trackpad on my CDMA Tour!!!! Oh and I did try as well on there 8520 and it didn't feel nearly as responsive!

I have the Curve 8330, and I'm waiting for the Tour 2 to come out. Though the Curve 8530 looks equally sweet, - could I live with the camera and screen? Sure. But why not wait for the Tour 2 and have it all?

Curve 8530 will be out first, the rumors for the Tour2 on the shelf will be on 1st quarter of 2010............Blah!!

Talked to CS today about my upgrade. I was also told they are expecting both the Curve 2 & Tour 2 to be released by the end of the year. I tricked him into saying both models separate as he confirmed the probability they will be here w/i in the next month.
