Are you outside? It won't work indoors.

Yes I stood outside for ages
I know someone else had the same problem on here but managed to fix it the only thing is they don't know how

When I ty to find my location in Blackberry Maps

Go into OPTIONS > ADVANCED OPTIONS > GPS > hit OPTIONS > then REFRESH GPS. Make sure you do this outside. Then you should see a change in the latitude, longitude, fix time, number of satellites, and accuracy fields. Now if successful, try BB maps and see if it works now.

BB maps never worked for me with the 9000 , the 8900 and now 9700

I think they blocked it in europe cause everyone i ask doesn t get an gps possition as well.

Nevertheless Google maps get s the signal straight away

This might be the same issues tongo is getting.

Glad to see it's working now. Whenever I run into GPS problems like that, this technique works like a charm.
