that looks sick where did you get the black bezel from?

It is the OEM Chrome bezel........I took it apart and wet sanded the chrome off using 1500 and then 2500 grit paper.

Nice! Black looks nice. I love how the Bell 9700's come unbranded. It doesn't say Bell anywhere. They did it with the Tour as well! ^^

2 reasons........

1, the OEM black one you can buy isn't flat black, it's gloss, and the last one I bought for the old bold started chipping the gloss black paint off. This way, if I happen to scrath it somehow, then I can give it a quick sand, and it's new again...

2, I can't wait 1-2 weeks for them to mail me one

I had my Bold 9000 down to 10 min to fully swap bezels, keyboards, balls etc........ The 9700 is easier. 2 screws and 4 clips.......done.

I have a red frame and battery door coming from Truesupplier. It looks fairly easy to take apart the 9700 to swap frames, although it must be done gently because of the fact that the frame is plastic.

yup, sticker on one of the screws.........with a fine blade and a steady hand, it can be removed without damage and re-applied when done.......
