Thanks! Wonder if this verison will finally let you delete the RIM protected sample pics and such ... 1.5.0.0 finally let me see the folders but the delete would not actually happen.
It will not allow you to delete sample pictures and, according to the developer, that will not change unless and until RIM allows write access:
with the release of v1.5.x.x the system folder for Storm, Strom2, Bold and Bold2 should be readable again....But this is read only access....to be able to delete you also need write access (that is not granted) only RIM can change this situation (which will not going to happen).
The API can not distinguish between 'delete' and 'write' access - so that's why any 3'rd party application can not delete anything in OS5.x System Folders (Bold & Storm) and this will not change in the future (as long as RIM does not change again this policy).
