I am in Urbana OH. It's weird as I can get mail IN from verizon but nothing goes out

Since i've got mail coming IN I think it's probably Verizon

possibly, coz it was the same for him too - he was able to receive his service books and emails/BBMs, but couldn't dial out....weird!

In Portsmouth, NH today. Tested mail to my Tour fine. Sent message out from each of two accounts on my Tour. They went out, but took about 1 minute for them to arrive.

ETA: I also just dialed the phone out fine too.

Mine's OK (sprint, Idaho), so my guess is it's only Verizon.

BIS has nothing to do with phone calls or SMS, only data. It sounds like an issue with your carrier. I cannot see who your carrier is on the mobile forums.

its RIM's servers not carrier, all my friends with different carriers having BBM delays.
