I frequently change themes, taking them on "test drives" looking for the perfect one. They are now starting to stack up and I would like to delete a few; can I delete them from the device or do I need to use desktop manager?

go into options, applications, and then delete the theme files from there.

You can also delete from Desktop Manager, just make sure that when you do this, you do not have one of the themes active.

DM - can do multiple at one time, then reboot.
brook196's way is slow, and only one at a time, then reboot.

If you are trying to delete themes made with Theme Builder the only way to do that, to delete those 'practice' themes is to hook up your phone to the USB, open Theme Builder go to file>manager themes and it will give you a list of all the themes including the practice one. You can delete as many as you want. Just a warning, I deleted about like 10 one time and it took about 10 minutes to delete them all, then it has to reset.
