I can order the 9700 as an upgrade today for $299 and have it tomorrow. However, I see lots of talk about a $100 rebate and wonder if that is a store-only offer. I can wait another week to save the hundred bucks, but don't want to hang on if my in store price will STILL be $299.

When I talked to the AT&T rep, he told me that the rebate stuff should come in the box, so I'm guessing we still get it.

Problem solved: talked with a nice rep in business care who over-rode the system and gave me an instant $100 rebate and free overnight shipping. So, done deal for $199 and I will have it at home tomorrow!

I got the same deal as well. Total was $230. Guess I will sell my BOLD 9000 to recoup the price I paid.

I assumed that pre-order only meant that when the phone was released on the 22nd you would already have one with your name on it. Are they really going to ship for tomorrow?

Just got off the phone with a csr who told me that Fedex Overnight would take 2-4 days. Does that sound like overnight to anyone?

I'm going to try another rep and see if I can get a speedier delivery.

The rep I talked to wouldn't give any discounts, and said there was no mail in rebate. Wouldn't give my $50 loyalty discount either. Told him to cancel the order.

Just talked with the Office of the President representative. They said it's not supposed to be up there yet for anyone. if any orders are placed, they won't be shipped until 11/22/09. They've been working with Premier Support all day on trying to get it taken down.

Actually, I did. There's a number you call, an operator takes your information, then they call you back. That's how I got my original Bold for free and still eligible for an upgrade.

similar situation, ordered this morning, $299 - $100 Loyalty Discount Instant - $100 Rebate/applied to acct. instead of gift card-fine w/me = $99.99 + tax ($139.36) arriving Wed.
