Any advice on the best browser for the 9700--BB, Opera, Bolt, other? Thanks.

The default browser works pretty well, 5.0 is optimized quite well. Since Skyfire is not in generally available, best bet would be Opera with some users preferring Bolt. It will really come down to personal preference. Try them both on the pages you like to browse, and see which performs better.

I use all three to be honest. If Im in a good wifi site then I use the reg browser. I find it quick enough and renders pages the best.

If not I switch between bolt and Opera depending on the webpage

Also, if on a BES, the BlackBerry Browser is the only one that gets to the Intranet

I uninstalled Opera Mini as it started using itself as the default browser when I clicked on links on emails etc. Apparently this is a new feature.. Would happily reinstall it if I could turn this feature off.. Anyone know how?

I agree Opera, its awful, its so slow.

Bolt is good but the font used is so bad. I'm just using the native browser, the new webkit browser can't come fast enough.

? browser is best for my money. Opera was dumb, but I do like how bolt scrolls...however I found the keyboard shortcuts completely not intuitive...that's crucial for me as I'm still in the habit of not using my trackpad so the ball doesn't get screwed...so glad the trackpad doesn't have that problem!!!

Mostly use Opera mini 5 beta 2. Unless I have to access intranet site which I have to use the native.

Really looking forward to the new BB Browser. Hope it is available soon.

Only if your bes policy blocks the internet browser. Not all block it.

Im not an Opera fan at all. I use Bolt for 75% of my surfing, and the BB browser for the rest.

Bolt is still a bit buggy (clicking on buttons sometimes takes 3 or 4 clicks, and Im not a fan of pages reloading when I select an item from a dropdown before I can proceed), but its superior in rendering and having font wrap that works. I really like never having to scroll to the left or right.
