    This is weird.
If I set my phone down on a table it restarts. I have to place it super-gently or it's the redlight for me.

    Why?

Perhaps the battery and battery connector is not making proper contact?

LOL, yeah Im guessing the battery is loose in the compartment. Some people stick a folded up piece of paper in there to keep it secure.

Pretty common problem. Fix it permanently by getting a new one. Otherwise just but a business card between the battery and the case.

The batteries are loose in the case, so a sudden tap on the bacl shifts it on the contacts and it's like a momentary battery pull. Take a business card, cut in half and fold the remaining half in half - then doublestick tape it to the upper half of the battry. The battery cover will be very tight when snapped in (and somewhat difficult to remove after that - that's the idea). I use quickpull app or the 3-finger salute (alt, l-aA and delete) to pull the battery.

Okay, just to resolve this. I fixed it like every other hardware problem I've had by tightening the screws behind the battery door. All 6 this time.

When I put my Bold down on the table, it just cries from loneliness.
