    Hi,

It doesn't work properly due to the new operating system (I think).

If you download the Opera Mini 5 Beta that works fine - looks pretty cool too.

I couldn't get the beta to work for me.. couldn't get the 'accept' button on the EULA to show...

Bolt is ok, but I prefer Opera... guess I'll have to wait

4.2 works great on my 9700. Lightning fast! No issues so far, just got this phone yesterday.

You have to try and accept the EULA a few times before it works.... Open it try....close it if it doesn't work.... Then open again, worked on my second try.

i got 4.2 to work for me. not the beta though. does the beta allow you to type into the fields w/out having to go into the white screen?

The beta is good ... but the fact that its a beta is painfully obvious. Sometimes it deletes whole fields when I press the del button once, and the graphic for he slide down menu sticks even after it goes back up, the cursor is painfully slow moving compared to the built in browser, youtube and "open image" doesn't work.

i did try bolt though and i must say i'm liking it better. i have never heard of bolt till this thread, but i like it better than opera. seems quicker and and easier to navigate. i'll play around some more but i think bolt is here to stay!

Just installed 5.0 and had the same problem. Got it to work this way...

Go to Setting > Options > Applications > Fine Opera and click the menu key and Edit Permissions. Set all 3 to Allow. Save.

Go back into Opera and when you see the EULA hit the menu key and you will see Accept & Exit

I had nothing but trouble with the 5.0 beta. Every time I attempted to login to the forums, it would hang on the username entry field and I'd have to do a battery pull.

it took me literally over 10 tries to accept eula on 4.2. And when it did, the browser was out of whack..5.0 works perfect but id prefer 4.2 because of familiarity and simplicity. Anybody else's have problems with their 4.2 browser?

Sorry to bump this but gonna try to find a reply here before I create a new thread.

I can download 4.2 and it works, but for some reason it feels like its a version for maybe a Storm or something; to open the menu have to press Q or 1 or something, the blackberry menu button doesn't do anything but bring up "close and switch application", and my trackpad "button" doesn't do anything. What can I do?
