I updated today to this, so far no issues, came from .297, visual voice mail still works just fine, no new icons noticed, no changes actually noticed yet.
Remember that RIM is not actively developing for 4.6 anymore. Only bug fixes. You shouldn't see anything new until they release the official 5.0.whatever for it sometime very soon I hope..
**Edit** Platform is still at 4.0.0.247 applications updated to 4.6.0.304.
I downloaded and installed today, no problems except for the third party apps (bought here). The install wipes out the activation codes, and since I have three BB's in the family I always have to request new codes (that's a pain). Haven't really noticed anything different.

Dang. Thanks for the info. I'm going to install it and see. I guess any improvements in the 4.6 series are too small to notice.
when you reactivate quicklaunch, run a backup. it will store a txt file on your memory card. when you restore using quicklaunch it will contain all your settings AND your activation code.
hmmm, i do have quicklaunch backed up. problem is as soon as i activate quicklaunch it goes to the "enter activation code" page, so I need the code to restore my settings.
