How do you fair on your battery life? I take my storm 2 off the charger at 6:30 am and by 8 or 9 PM I an run down to 15% or so. This is probably making 40 - 60 mins of phonecalls and using the web moderately while I work. What is your experience?

I went off the charger today at 8:30am and it's now almost 11pm and I have 30% battery left. I've been on WiFi all day with heavy texting and email. Also a little bit of bbm and one or 2 3-5 min phone calls. Lots of web browsing as well on WiFi
When I start work at 4 am my battery is fully charged and by 9am its at bout 50% that's with lots of web browsing crackberry.com of course lol, texting and play a game

Wow... I don't have any of the problems you guys are seeing, my S2 has a battery that will last forever, I usually get at least two days of decently heavy txt and email usage plus a few phone calls thrown in (and I leave wi-fi on all the time). I work in a very secure environment so tonight I forgot to turn it off before I put it in the little lockbox outside our office, when I found it this morning, the battery was DEAD... Apparently it was trying really hard to find a signal and it couldn't...
I have changed those settings since the release date and those are my results. I could turn off the wifi but I was wondering how everyone else was fairing....

It was mentioned somewhere on the forum that it was suspected there were some units shipped with a bad lot of batteries. Perhaps this is the case with the units you guys have.
Mine has been doing pretty good, about like my S1. It'll make it through the day of moderate use with about 25% battery left at bedtime. (6 AM to 11 PM)
I have the 2600 mAh Seidio battery from my S1, but no one makes the extended battery back cover for the S2 yet. That battery ran my S1 for 3 days of moderate usage. Can't wait for the back cover to become available!
I seem to get great battery life. To be fair, I have the brightness at 10, the network set to 1XEV, and a BlackBerry magnetic leather case. The case really helps.
First day I torched a battery by 3pm when I took it off charge at 6:30am.
That was with the network set to 1xev only and wifi turned off. I use bluetooth for my headset.
I have now turned down the backlight to 20.
The last couple of days have been big days, I killed the battery in my Jawbone by 4:30pm so it's tough to say right now. I'll give it a full week before I judge.
Over the past week I have been mostly in the office so I haven't made too many calls. I have used it for a lot of texts and emails and a fair amount of web browsing. I am having no problems getting a full day 7am until 11PM or so (1AM last night) and she's still has some juice left when I plug her in.
So far I have left wifi on but set GPS to e911 only and changed the global to 1xev.
The big test will come when I'm out of the office with poor service and making more calls.
