Ok so my 9530 crashed today just before I d/led 5.0. I loved everything about my phone and would make my decision whether to upgrade to the S2 after I d/l'ed 5.0. I went to the VZW store get a FRU, one store didn't have them so I drove a few miles to get the my replacement. To my surprise, it was working with 5.0! The VZW employee didn't even know! It's like a totally new phone!!! I love my S1 like I just bought it now! I will not be upgrading to S2 with this upgrade.
all of the phones that come out of the warehouse now all have the new software...it would be stupid for them to send out or give out phones that don't have it on there ya know...but yeah I am the same way...the software of the S1 is the same as S2...so its maing me stay with it too.
