Hello

It is now November 5th and there is no release of this phone. Obviously the information on wikipedia needs to be fixed. Does anyone actually know the real release date for this phone?

I think it is meant for mid November.

And wikipedia shouldn't be your go to source for accurate info! Feel free to change it though ;D

bell and telus i believe is for the 5th, or maybe one of the companies is the 4th the other is the 5th.

rogers is supposed to be the 4th, but alot of people got it on the third.

at&t on the other hand, i remember back seeing days like the 16 and 14 and stuff like that. unless there was new updates that i was unaware of.

CX is saying 11/16, I have 2 good friends that work at at&t retail stores and they are telling me 11/11. I don't want to add to the he said she said, but they are close friends and have no reason to lie to me, but just give me the info they have. So we shall see. I am sure its close since rogers and bell has already launched it. Patience is not a virtue among crackberry addicts

We shall all know in time but 11/16 seems more likely as it is a Monday. Why release a device on a Tuesday? Did the Bold 9000 release mid-week in 2008?

I believe that the date that AT&T stores can order the phone is on the 16th,
but that's not the actual release date that it will be in the stores.

I called 5 different at&t stores this afternoon in the area. The answers as to when they'd have the 9700 in store range from November 8, to the 22nd, to sometime in November, to sometime prior to black Friday to no idea. It doesn't appear that it's today though.
