Hi, first off this my first post so sorry if Im asking something dumb here.

My problem is, im going to be selling my Storm 9530 tommorrow, and I need to know how to delete all my stuff off the phone and have it ready to be sold.

So my question is, what do I have to do to get everything off my phone and leave it in the condition to be activated by the other party? Can I go into Verizon and have them do this? Also Ive heard something about clearing the PIN or ESN? Do I have to do that in order for the other party not to recieve my emails and such?

Don't know if you got your question answered already but the best thing to do is go to options > security options > security swipe. That will delete everything on your phone, as far as clearing the pin or ESN I'm not sure you can do that.

It just erases the data, apps, etc. And you can't erase the ESN or PIN. Those are built into the hardware.

No it just deletes everything on your phone (contacts, messages, call logs, apps, any personal info, etc). It doesn't delete core apps
