i was wondering is the droid had a glass screen .. i believe it is.. but is it as scratch resistent as the storm screens?

Direct answer to OP's question, I don't see any difference between Storm's screen and this one other then this doesn't click.

I recommend eye glass tissues for cleaning by the way. They are inexpensive at Walmart, 50 for 3 bucks.

Yep I've seen similar test for the Storm. It's hard to scratch glass. Now plastic, that's a whole different story.

I think the Eris screen is glass as well. I was in the store a while back and I ran my keys pretty hard over the Eris screen.

i had 3 storm 1's and they would scratch even if you looked at wrong.

okay maybe not that easy but within a week of minimal use the screen was covered in tiny scratches. both storms have plastic screens because to have a resistive touchscreen like they do plastic is required and it flexes when you press it.

Tossed it in a DIRTY pocket/backpack/diaper bag eh? Sliding it screen side down, across nasty table tops again? Floorboard diving is a no no, especially after trips to the beach.

Wonder if it had scratched, would they have made you buy it? Then you could return it because it had a scratch on the screen.
