I was using the youtube.com and the m.youtube.com website earlier yesterday and everything was working fine. Now, all of a sudden the same videos that worked even with my old curve don't work on the storm 2. I'm using Mini-Opera (4.xxx) version AND the native blackberry browser. They are both showing the message: "An error has occurred attempting to play media."
Any help with that? I'm not sure if I changed any settings that would affect it. The rest of the internet seems to work just fine. Thanks
Same here, did notice that the 'You Tube' icon I had on v4.7 is no longer available in BB app world......Workaround is VZW Today, Entertainment, You Tube Videos.
Im getting that same error. Sometimes it works sometimes not and that message comes up. Or while playing the screen goes all black and that error message comes up.
I've had this problem fairly often as we'll... But not just on the storm.. Pearl and curve both... I noticed that its mostly standard red stuff that does it.. if its hi res it works fine..... Could be an encoding issue...

This is an issue lighting up all the boards. Complain to RIM, your carrier and youtube. Only way to solve it is with their cooperation. I believe youtube has a ton of videos now loaded onto the mobile site that are not mobile formatted.
