When my phone is in the landscape position and I select the menu button to show all of my icons, both left and right edges of the screen turn white and the I can only see half of the icons on each side.
You should state if your running a leak or not and the OS number. Also, I have seen a few threads on this subject already so do a search for "white bar" or something like that. I have not experienced this problem so I haven't read up on it but I know there is a work around.
Go into the home screen settings. Switch the theme settings to Today, save, then go back and set it to 2 rows, save and exit out. You will need to do this each time a battery pull is done though.
Like everyone said you should have searched, you would have got your answer instantly.
