Why not upgrade your storm1 OS to the 5.0 official release and you'll see a huge difference.

Storm 1 owners thinking that they should be treated special just for owning the original Storm are getting really old. Things always improve, especially in smart phones. Next year there will be better phones. Do I expect RIM to treat me and all other Tour owners special and hand us the new Essex? No.

Ya, like the whole hardware upgrade issue and people being unhappy Rogers now only upgrades every two years instead of one. It's a non issue as far as I'm concerned. Who needs a new model every single year?

Hi i have a blackberry storm 9530 for telus and ive been desperately trying to download the new 5.0.0.328 os and update it to my phone ive gone into my control panel and made sure that my desired os is the only one installed and i also deleted the vendor xml but no matter how i do it (using the loader in the apploader folder or using DM) my computer is just not detecting my 5.0 os for my phone plz help me as i am slowly going insane
