I use both yahoo and gmail on my BB. Both are sent to my BB without a problem. The problem comes when I delete them. They do not delete with yahoo or gmail. They only show up as read. Is there any way to change this

That is a setting. Go into your messages, hit menu/blackberry button and go to options. Then go under "email reconcillation" and select "delete on" and set It to what you want. I use "prompt".

Go to your messages, bring up the menu and go to email reconciliation. Go to delete on and select mailbox and handheld. and change conflicts to handheld wins and that should delete your messages and not just mark them read.
