    According to BGR:
Just got a heads up that the T-Mobile BlackBerry 9700 might have been pushed back to a November 16th launch. Not confirmed, though. Pricing is confirmed, however, at $199 with a two-year agreement and $449 for full retail . On the Samsung side of things, we’ve heard the Samsung Behold II running Android will launch on November 18th with a $249 price tag (on a two-year agreement, of course).
5 days isn't too bad, if the rumored Nov. 11th date was correct, and $449 full retail is great! I was expecting at least $499+, I paid $400 full retail for my original Curve, so 449 isn't bad at all.

this is getting really annoying..i dont know wth RIM or Tmo is waiting for to release this phone..a BB rep came to my store and said we should be receiving these any day now but hearing this is making me mad..my bold is f-d up and i need to replace it asap and i honestly cannot understand whats taking them so long to start releasing this phone, its barely an upgrade over the original bold. The storm2 is available already!

Do you think that the non contract price will be the same for AT&T?

That's sad news indeed when I saw that on BGR this morning. . It's only 5 days though if it's true.
That no contract price is nice though! Especially for people like me who only have a partial upgrade.

Wow...that full retail price isn't bad @ all. I'm a Sidekick user so I have a $100 gift card coming to me for all the network trouble. I may have to pick one of these up.

Okay, RIM should seriously stop toying with my emotions. At least, announce a definitive release date---so I can exhale. My trackball has been out of commission for two weeks. I'm using a cheesy Samsung slide temporarily (it's the pits). If T-Mobile doesn't release the 9700 soon, I'll be forced to switch to the iPhone. I need a smartphone fix quick!

Does anyone know if AT&T and tmo are planning on releasing this on the same date? I don't know why but I always had the feeling that tmo would be the first one to carry it in the US..

Pricing sounds about right for a repackaged 8900. If its only 5 days it should be fine, as long as we don't get into a Bold style delay.

I guess it doesn't matter for me at this point because I don't qualify for the full discount until next April. I could jump ship to at&t but I want the UMA service with TMO.
