I have tried the update from two different computers with the same result. Using Desktop Manager 5.0, the upgrade link there claims that no update is available.

When I follow the instructions in the message I got, (https://forums.crackberry.com/e?link...token=L2njDJKV), I get a message that says:

"You cannot update your software using this system as your device is currently activated on BlackBerry Enterprise Server or BlackBerry Professional Software. Please contact your administrator for updates. Or check for updates from your carrier service provider. https://www.blackberry.com/hhupgrade"

I have never used a non-official OS on this, and the previous update went fine (over the air). The only thing close to BES would be a company discount on the account, but it is definitely not on BES.

When you get that error leave the window open and pull up a second application loader. It will work that way. Enjoy and remember to back your phone up first.

I actually went to the section where it said "BES users click here..." and was able to upgrade with ever getting the BES error. At one point I had to click a box saying I had spoken with my IT dept about upgrading before proceeding (that made me giggle).

It seemed like a new route for BES users from the approach last time.

I got that too, but when I went to the Verizon site to download it onto my computer, it didnt give me any problems. How strange.

yes, that second window thing WORKS GREAT!

thats how i got loaded and im not a bis subscriber.

then click check for updates, let it all pop up and when its got the loader thing showing the updates available then open YOUR LOADER and it will allow you to update.


just make sure u got the new .328 installed on your comp.
