i was installing the 5.0 leaked os to my 8900. its been almost 4 hours and the connecting to the device tab(task 10 of 11) has been in the same spot for 3 hours now. should i click cancel and retry?

If i were you I wouldnt dl that leaked os. heard theres a ton of problems with it and things just dont seem to work the way they should with the 5.0

What screen is on your BB? hit your mute button, you probably have a message on the screen and you can disconnect and it will say it couldnt restore your data. happened on my tour, no worries, just go load a backup through dm and you should be set, if not let us know

Just do a soft reset or a battery pull. Leave it connected to the cable. You'll have to do a restore, but it will be fine.

it was my tmobile screen. i ended up restarting the computer, did a battery pull. the 5.0 got on to my phone then i restored all my old apps seems to be working now just registering all my old apps. had to redownload app world, bbm and facebook

This happened to me when upgrading my 8330 to 5.0. There should be no further problems besides that small issue you already had.
