Is there anyway to take the clip off the case included with the Tour without completely destroying it?

I'm using a pocket case from a curve 8900 and it fits perfect and works great.

Don't do it. I ruined mine.

Sure, you can just break off the clip, but then you have this plastic piece on the back with this nipple thing poking out. (I don't normally find nipples poking out to be a bad thing, but in this case I do LOL).

The Tour fits perfectly in the 83xx series leather sleeves as well if you have one or can find one of those.

Yes just go beast mode on it and rip it straight off. I've been using this as the case for my tour without the clip since I got it a couple months ago. When you throw it in your pocket just make sure the protruding plastic piece isn't against your leg and this works great as a pocket case. Hey it beats spending $20 on a new case!

I broke my clip off when I got it. did no damage but still didn't like the case withotu a clip on it, so I just got a Seidio Holster instead which seemed to work a lot better then the leather holster the phone came with

RIM makes a synthetic leather pocket for the Tour. Just like the pouch that's included in the box but without the clip and flap.

It's wide open and doesn't really protect much of the phone.

My Tour came with a holster that doesn't have a clip. It came with straps that have hooks on both ends...

Just got this case today. I really like it thus far. It feels 1000 times smaller in my pocket compared to the case the Tour came with. The top is a bit uncovered but this does not bother me. I did notice that to ensure the sleeper magnet works you can't push the phone into the pouch as far as you can, just slide it in there naturally and it works fine.

If you are looking for a Pocket Pouch I would def. recommend this I mean for $3.99 delivered to your door you CAN'T beat it.

I got the Tour pouch with the elastic on the sides and no belt clip from *bay for $10. It works ok, the top sticks out about 1/2 inch. Why they designed it so that would happen I have no idea.

The above Curve pouch is a great deal for $4 but since the Tour is a little longer than the Curve the top will again stick out about 1/2 inch from the top. Both pouches will work just fine.
