    I have a question...
So I have an 8330m and my ma has my old 8330. I resigned my contract in July and just got another Curve but I got stuck with an m. I REALLY want 5.0 and I want to swap her phones. So on US Cellular Curve's ##123456 gets you to the service edit screen. If I just swap our information, will that switch our phones? Or should I just call 611 and have them swap our info?

    Thanks in advance.

Just call 611. It probably wont take no more than 30 minutes. I wouldn't go playing with stuff that you probably don't know how to play with. No offense intended, you may know everything, but I still wouldn't mess with it.

Call them up.... that would be easier for you anyway.

unless you can head into a retail location with the phones, you'll definitely want to call customer service. changing the programming of the phone is only a local adjustment. the network needs to store the serial number (meid on the 8330m, esn on the 8330) of the phone in order to recognize it as the active device.
