    Called my local Verizon store and they told me that they do have the Storm2 in the store, but they don't know when its going to be launched. The manager said that it will be soon... prob not tomorrow. Told me to check back later. Its release is so close. If you want to check my source call the Corona Ca Verizon location.

    Well I called two other close Verizon locations and they have yet to even receive the phone... so they tell me . The verizon that told me they have it can be reached (changed for the store's discretion). I know you guys want pics but I doubt they'll let me take a photo of their storm2 stockpile. lol guess I could go over there later and try.

    This would be the only store to our knowledge that would have it. and out of respect for the store, please delete that number.... They will now be getting a million and a half calls looking for it, and thats just not cool.

    Which store in Corona? There are two company stores. There are, also, three authorized locations.

    Store my way is closed by now, but reiterating what I've heard from them, they've been saying 10/21 for a week. I don't know if they're to be belived.

    Just called that source. It was legitimate. They have them in the store. The rep said they didn't know when they would be released but they DO have them in stock.

    On the phone with a rep now. I asked if they had the storm2 and she said its not available for sale yet. I asked when it will be and im currently on hold. Weeeee.


    Edit: OP is not a liar. She just said they have them in store but arent allowed to sell them until launch date. So some stores are getting them. Sweet! She said possibly some time next week.

    And next week, we will hear "it may be for sale NEXT week". reminds me of the lies ("the update should be out ANY day") that persisted for MONTHS when Storm users asked the stores about an OS update when .75 was the official OS. I got sick of the BS and returned my Storm for refund rather than get strung along forever.

    i dont think its in the stores yet. after my sons soccer game tonight I passed by my local store. The manager told me that it WILL be available Thursday. He admittedly assumes this because he has to deploy all the signage for the S2 on Wednesday night.

    You're wrong. I just BBM'd an employee at that location. They have actual S2 boxes in....not dummy phones, ready to be sold boxes.

    I assume your shipment comes in Wed or later....

    Confirmed launch date is set for one week from tomorrow, the 28th. That is, assuming VZW finds a way to delay it, again.
