    i'm invited to the launch event for the mysterious new blackberry tomorrow and in the emails I have been talking to with RIM I saw a deleted attachment list of invitees named " BB Onyx Launch Event 10.21.2009.xls " being sent back and forth..

    It's probably T-Mobile. T-Mobile is having an official launch party. I've seen the invites.

    On Second thought, I'm not really buying it. Nov. 11th is the date that everyone is tossing around for the Onyx release.
    So where did "tomorrow" come from?

    Don't confuse the date of announcement with the date of availability. From what I've heard, tomorrow the 9700 is announced, and (at least t-mobile) will have it available on 11/11

    It is a T-Mobile / RIM Launch Event, and it is to unveil the phone, I assume we will find out tomorrow when it should be available in stores and I will report back. But this is a T-Mobile RIM unveiling party for the Onyx tomorrow that i will attend and report back!

    What city is the party in? What time is the event going to start??? How soon can you post on CB after the event??

    Can't give address out sorry, but I will post details... Event starts at 9:00 AM EST... Its from 9 AM - 11 AM ... *crosses finger* rumor is all attendees get an onyx to take home....
