    You: Just looking at Blackberry's and am thinking of ordering but I wanted a Storm 2. Is Verizon going to carry it?

    Felisa: No we do not have the Storm 2.

    You: Ok, thanks then

    Felisa: Are you wanting to place and order tonight.

    You: Yeah, but I just don't want to get an out of date phone if there is a new one coming out. I thought about the storm but heard a new one may be coming out so I'm thinking of waiting.

    Felisa: Ok great I understand.

    Felisa: Is there anything else I can help you with?

    Felisa: I have not heard from you for a few moments. Would you like me to keep this chat session open for you?

    You: Yeah I just found the Storm 2 pictures on the verizon wireless website, here's the link. BlackBerry Storm 2

    You: I thought you weren't carrying it?

    Felisa: We do not have it.

    Felisa: Hold one moment please.

    Felisa: We are not selling it now.

    You: When can I order it?

    You: I've got to get away from ATT

    Lol this reminds me of the time when a bunch of guys from my office were chatting to LG reps about networking their fridges to a cable modem. We thought we were being cheeky & silly, yet they actually had a fridge with an ethernet jack lol. Gotta love chat support reps.

    It does not matter. That chat "rep" is an automated computer that is selectively responding based on what it has in its database.

    why is this such a popular topic tonight? please stop making these stupid threads. live chat reps are often less knowledgeable/helpful than store reps. this does not help any of us. this is like the third time tonight i've read a post that said, "i just did an online chat and asked about the storm2, and they said they didn't know, and i said OK, and then we said bye." that was just plain useless.

    I called VZW customer service last night. I was told to keep watching the website to pre-order. The rep also told me that my 'early upgrade' date was October 26 so I should be patient and not pre-order until that date...

    Dude, there's evidence all over that "chat." I've dealt with such automated support systems, and I've actually implemented such technologies before. I know the signs, trust me.

    By the way, your "10char" was actually more like an "8char." Just letting you know.
