Update;
~ Load this over a new .230 full install - not .238 (update; some peeps report .230 and .238 hybrid works AOK)
~ Booting seems longer, do a few battery pulls and it will indefinitely speed up (eg. 3 -4 30 sec battery pulls)
~ Transitions seems smoother
~ Has Sims3 and new Tetris Game Builds from the newer leaked S2 OS!!! - Thanks Lyricidal for that!

EVERYONE PLEASE POST FINDINGS AND FIXES ON THIS NEW HYBRID;

Things to check into furtherl
1) Music App Bug - How many still experiencing it? (I am guessing it will be the same due the .230 sfi)
Update; I no longer have the media player muting issues!!!
2) What Apps and Themes still compatible? (Quickpull Lite work?)
3) Any new bugs found that did not exist from the .230 / .238 hybrid?
4) Blackscreen of Death Glitch (Needs battery pull or holster trick to resume screem back to normal) / Is that bug still there?
5) Any memory leaks found?
6) Dimming bug Fixed?

No not at all, I went over this before. The newer java files fixed theme related issues with the 5.0.0.230. I have been testing this hybrid for 4 days and its much much better then straight .230. One minor thing people will notice is that in portrait mode while selecting an icon .230 would over lap the app name with the date. With this hybrid the issue has been fixed, also the random hickups that where in .230 are not present anymore.

Ive used a ton of hybrids....but with this one is it necessary to load over .230 or can I just load straight into .148

You must load this hybrid over 5.0.0.230 but if your coming from .148 you can do this all at once. First DL .230 to your computer then dl the hybrid to your comp then load it all to your phone.

Install .230 onto your comp, install .238/287 hybrid onto your comp, backup, wipe(if desired), run apploader.

I have .230 already installed on my phone, i've downloaded and installed the hybrid.. Shouldnt DM recognize the "newer OS" and automatically upgrade? Cause mine didnt, nor does the application loader- update work...

no i dont think dm will detect it, but imo i would use loader.exe, use bbsak to wipe it then use apploader to reload the os, btw make sure to backeverything up.
Thats the only way i know how to load hybrids.. i dont even use DM anymore. i just use Loader.exe

honestly this would be one of the only things i care about. 230 bugs that are not contained in teh SFI file dont really bother me.
