Ok so it came in the mail. I got a used 8820 off ebay. Sooooo I like it a lot but it seems a little flimsy.

It definitly isn't flimsy so don't worry about that. I've been using for for quite awhile now and other then the usb port breaking it has never let me down.

My 8820 has been through everything imaginable. The only reason why I had to switch to a Curve is because I accidentally left it out on my deck overnight and it got humid. Unfortunately I had no warranty left on it so I had to go with a 8310 Curve
