I just noticed that I don't have MMS anymore either. That kind of sucks. Oh well. Hopefully newer versions of 5.0 fix that issue. Overall it runs a **** of a lot quicker than 4.5.0.169.
Hey, Just a Question here< How did you get the OS 5.0 loaded on your us cellular 8330, i cant for the life of me get it on my GF's,i had an 8330 from Verizon that i put os 5.0 on just as smooth, but didnt know if us cellular had a set of different instructions, iv tried, going through just the loaded.exe, did a clean wipe using BB Swiss army Knife, and thought i had killed it, all i got was the 507 no OS, and finely loaded 4.5 os from us cellular directly. So if anyone has any shed some light on how to get the 5.0 os on a us cellular.
EDIT:, sorry i guess i should of gave you some errors i recieved, When i first did it through loader.exe, i kept getting no os is avaliable for my device,, but gave me the option to add .alx files, so i went to the folder directly under the shared/loader app, and that pulled up the 5.0 and some of the core apps, then when i pressed the next, it told me the email setup files didnt have all the required files, and couldn't get past that.

No problems loading the 5.0 hybrids up on the boards so far. Only issue I've experienced is not having MMS anymore. Hopefully the "official" 5.0 release from RIM fixes those problems.

Yeah that and app world didnt work on my verizon curve either.
Blackberry app world will not work on my curve 8330. Also I am not able to charge my device in the cradle. It say usb charging current is not sufficient.
Other than those 2 things it love it!

yeah, bb appworld not working on the 8330 with 5.0 is a device specific issue, it doesn't work on any 8330 running any version of 5.0. for example, my OS in alt>shift>h reads, Appversion: 5.0.0.323 with platform: 3.5.0.30, it is a hybrid that compiles several versions of 5.0 all of which appworld is compatible with, but not on the 8330. however, we can still use appworld on a pc and then install to our devices.
