    i've just recentley tried updating my BB OS, and now it's stuck onwait for device initialization for the past 20-30 min!! is this normal? if not what should i do?

    No, it's not normal... you might want to wait a little longer... then check your connection... is your device still booting up???

    Then, next time you have a question about BETA OS... post it in the OS Beta/Hybrid Discussion! forum.

    ha i waited for an hour before doing a battery pull but do not disconnect from the computer. It will take a min to two for it to reboot don't worry.
