So I just wanted to let everybody out there know that the post this guy made in my other thread is legit and real and not a scam.

I wanted a way to get a Blackberry Curve 8900 for free without going through wirefly, amazon, or letstalk.com because those places can be very shady when it comes to any account changes.

This is what his post said:

"you can get the phone free from the Tmobile business department i got my girlfriend 1 last week you call 18664648662 an press option 3 when the rep comes on the phone they are going to ask do you have a promo code you give them 7490tmofav which is the rim blackberry offer once you give them that you will be good to go you also can get the 8520 free with this offer"

Well I called the number...gave the guy the promo code. U can get an 8900 or an 8520 for free. You also get a free samsung bluetooth headset. In addition to that, if you sign up for an unlimited messaging plan, you get a $50 account credit on EACH line. Its an amazing deal!!! Heres proof that the promo code really works!!

@OP wow it looks like you made that post right on time! I am going to be in the market for a new Berry soon. Anyway under this promotion does TMO allow you to port your old number if you wanted?

Smallest voice plan + BIS/unlimited text + UMA = WIN!

What a great deal! I recently bought two new 8900s using the freelancers union discount ($50/phone and no activation fee) and I thought that was a bargain!

Yes, this promo applies to a 2year contract that you have to sign up to. It's well worth it though.
