Please explain to me why you would need more then one sound? I just dont understand the need and how you could listen to 2 sounds at once.

my reason would be that whenever i get a text while listening to music or something it stops and i have to restart the music..

Like when you're listening to music and an audio alert goes off. You don't want the music to stop but to have the audio alert play on top of the music.

Actually - I like that the music stops so I'm sure not to miss the alert.

Takes all kinds...Ideally it would be a selectable option.

Try out the Light Saber app and it will be painfully obvious why it's needed.

Mostly for multimedia and games... It's on my list of must fixes

    Yeah, this drives me nuts!
A dam 8100 can do it, but the storm can't? WTF?

The original poster was not talking about the sound pausing when you get a message. One could argue that is what you would want.

We are talking about gaming and having multiple sounds playing at the same time... If you can't do that the game will sound all stilted and so 1990s.

The music pauses briefly with Slacker and then resumes in a couple of seconds. Not a problem with me.

What about when a sound (for notification) should play, but you can "mute" it by simply pressing in on the screen for a function. What, that's not a bug? lol

The Storm has more than one channel available. They just restrict developers to just one.
