Does anyone know if there is a new official verizon os for the storm yet or do they still use 4.7.0.148?

Why are people worried about an "official" OS? Just download the "leaks." Nothing is going to happen to your phone. No one from RIM is gonna come knock your door down and kidnap you. Your warranty will not be voided.
You will get a better phone. You will like it more. You won't have to wait for the next official OS to come out.

well, 5.0.0.288 is at VZW friendly user testing right now, they just got it earlier this week...so it could be available in a month or two, depending on how well it does in testing...no word on the quality of the build yet though.
.230 vs any .148 is a hugeee improvement...you would be surprised
+1 It is miiillless above the 4.7 builds. You have to give it a shot. It is very easy to go back down if you don't like it (but you will so you won't need to go back to .148 ).
