i bricked my phone with .230 and downgraded back to .167. i had added sms contacts to bbm 5 while using .230 for threaded sms. i wiped my phone using bbsak, reinstalled .167 with shrink os 4.0,reloaded backed up third party via dm,and finally restored with dm. now that i'm back on .167those sms contacts remained in bbm5 and still work. i just thought id pass my experience along. i bricked ny phone during the restoration of third party apps on .230. got the vsod.
