Most data seems fine here near Boston - email, various apps.. on 1XEV.. but Google Talk won't connect still. Happening on my Tour as well as my girlfriend's Curve.
I'm in the SF Bay Area and they are telling me it's still down (VZW). I've been in "paperweight mode" for 24 hours now. They've told me to call back tonight. Between my satellite TV issues and my data issue with VZW, I feel like my landline phone is glued to my head. What do people do when they don't have landlines when you have to call about your BBs? I never use mine except to call VZW about my monthly data outages. grrrrrr.

I wasn't having any problems until yesterday. Everything else was working except I couldn't get logged into my facebook app. It kept giving me the data service error message. But all my txts and everything else worked and it showed 1XEV the whole time so I was confused. The facebook app is up and running today though. How frustrating...
thank for the update. is that an offical release? VZW issue or RIM?
