I sent away my last curve due to problems, and just received my new Blackberry Curve 8300 replacement phone. I've only had it 2 days, and randomly it will just turn off, and restart itself. What gives?! What can I do to fix it??

Do you have an sd card inserted? Try removing it for a while and see if that helps. Could have corrupted files. Could also be an app that is not compatible with your OS.

Good point hooty made. Remove your micro SD card and see if the problem stops, might be a corrupted media card.

I don't think I have a media card! I haven't downloaded any applications expect the facebook application. I've tried doing a battery pull out, but the turn-off's keep happening.

oh- - I did some googling and I guess lots of Curves do this. The only difference is when my phone turns itself off, it turn itself back on, where the other posts I've read their phone stays off.

Happened to my old bb 8700 b/c i dropped it. 2 things to try:

1. Do a hard reset where you turn off the device and remove the battery

2. upgrade OS

These worked for me but have no idea if it'll work for you
