It doesn't matter when the vzw release is because he's advertising the actual phone in his posession, not a pre-release to be delivered later. Seller is legit and has always sold devices before the official release date. OS may not be final version but seems to be latest hardware

This could mean verizon corporate has the phone and maybe a good sign for a sooner then later release date.

I would rather a picture of the .249 OS and verizon branding before I believe it 100% but I want too.

It happened last year, baby was listed at $10, 000. Couple said they were kidding lol

Couple tries to sell baby on Craigslist

EDIT: I clicked a related story, the same couple were charged for raking up $80, 000 in credit card fraud usage in Aug/09 lol

The way the ad is worded i would not count on the device being able to be activated on verizon. Plus it would appear the wait for the release is not that far off. Save yourself 1500 and wait till the end of the month.

    From the description:

This package includes the Blackberry 9520 Storm 2 "ODIN" and Charger ONLY, no box or other accessories. !
9520 means no CDMA, means no Verizon.

Also, OP, he says its the Verizon RELEASE. Means it's not on the Verizon network. But he's got goofy wording. He claims it's the 9550, it's the 9520, what is the OP selling anyways?

I agree. We're looking at what, $500-$600ish at the most with no contract?

And plus I asked the seller for additional photos of the box and accessories, no reply.

Would definitely be fun to get your hands on the device pre-release, but who's got 1500 lying around to shell on a possible brick? Still, the novelty of having it for a month or two might be worth it! haha

When he says "The PIN is WORKING 100%" = means the phone won't be deactivated when the official launch arrives?

If you look at what else selling, you'll see he has more than one 9520 for sale. He's either lying, or he's got a way of getting his hands on the new Storm.

    Exactly what I was noticing.

As much as I want this BlackBerry, this particular one is not worth it lol. Happy bidding.
