I swear I didn't know everyone else was working on the same thing when I created this app. I've had it created a for a while now I just never released it.

    What does it do?
This app will display the date and month on the calendar icon. At a quick glance you can see what the date is without having to search for it.

This application has a real small memory footprint at only 7.7kb

With 230 it should work as long as it's not your main homescreen icons. For some reason 230 wont update those icons they like never refresh.

Nope it's not theme driven at all. It will stay the same icon forever, well until the day changes that is.

so just to make sure, if a theme has its own calendar icon, this app will override it?

Correct...well this application doesn't get rid of the default calendar app that's still there. It adds a new icon that looks just like the default calendar that displays the date and month. You can simply hide the other calendar app since it would no longer be needed.

DMG nice app. Looks great. You might want to add that tiny note about it not updating if set on the home screen as I can see it becoming a huge deal.

I wish you released this a few days ago. I bought the other one but always prefer your apps.

Can you make an Icon that looks like this also?
    _
This (the one you have) Icon would look great with the stock theme. But having an option would be great.

I think you're thinking of the other app. 3 developers came out with the same kind of app all at the same time lol. I haven't noticed any leaks or slowdowns with my application.

    Yep exactly

It takes too much time to release an app. I sometimes just push it a side and come back to it another time.

You have to take screen shots, create a name, create a description, upload everything etc.

After I get done programming for 10+ hours I don't feel like doing all that haha. Then I forget about the app for a few weeks and then upload it.

It's working good with .230. It seems every time you disappear for a little while you come back with another app that you had laying around.

=) I like to release new apps when I take some time off. That makes people less mad at me taking time off.
