I went back to the original blog post to grab a copy for my girlfriends Storm but it's not a valid link anymore. Does anyone have a good link to a copy of the 5.0.0.230 OS with or without Quincy. I'd rather not have a pre-shrunk or hybrid version. Any help is greatly appreciated.

.230 is still a leak, but it is a "full" leak meaning there are no files from previous OS's in the file. There is also a "hybrid" .230 release, but that includes files from .191 (I believe). I went from .151 directly to the FULL 5.0.0.230 and I am loving it so far. It has some quirks and minor issues, but IMO it is much faster than previous OS's and threaded SMS is a major plus. Download it, backup your phone, give it a try. If you don't like it you can always go back

Neither, you download to your computer, install it on the computer then install to your phone with DM or Apploader. I always use apploader.

Don't forget to backup your data and third party apps before installing to phone.

you shouldnt lose you apps, they should be there although viigo is broken i think in 230
