Since the .230 leak finally got onto my phone, I've had the 3G/BB logos instead of the 1XEV. (I know it's not the same and I'm not complaining) This isn't about asking about it.
Am I a poser for actually liking the change? It just looks better. Small thing, I know. I think more current customers/new customers understand "3G". Call it branding, call it whatever you want.
Will this actually stay or will it go back to the regular "1XEV" when 5.0 officially drops?
It should stay I belive every device Verizon drops from now on is going to say it instead of 1ZEV to eliminate the confusion .... Also there are many threads on this

Again, I will state that most of the threads I saw were showing confusion and asking why it changed etc. Like people thinking that they lost something when the 1XEV went away.
Not the case here, I'm just stating an opinion. 3G/BB logo should stay. Makes more sense.
I think it makes things simpler. If you are not terribly technologically inclined, then 1XEVDO makes no sense. It is about time they make a push towards a more consumer oriented device, especially since [IMHO] that is what the Storm was meant to be.
I dont understand with old os it would go form 1XEV,1xev.1x andd now on 230 it always stays on 3g all the time. Im sure im missing the obvious, just see it staying like that all the time doent make since...
