Ok, so the original Sprint 8330 Curve Coming Soon thread was massive, had tons of posts, but ultimately strayed off/on topic a lot and got a little too heated and is therefore being restarted here. The original thread has been closed as it simply got a bit out of control, despite the best efforts of many. Time for a fresh start.
This is the official thread to talk about the Sprint 8330 Curve and it's hopefully SOON release date.
This thread will be moderated according to our site rules & posting guidelines - please keep it on topic to the subject hand, the Sprint 8330 Curve and its release. Be respectful of others and keep it clean. Simple Stuff.
Sorry for the inconvenience, and Thank You for the cooperation!
I'm gonna be a first time blackberry owner when this comes out. . . does it have the Push-To-Talk feature like nextels, and is the service included in the $30 blackberry plan?
C'mon sprint. You Can Do It!! . . .release that biach.
I'm agreeing with you. Enough with the waiting already. The end of April is officially here. Sprint, just go ahead and the release the phone already. I need to feed my blackberry addiction. Maybe I will go to the AT&T kiosk at the mall today just to get a fix.
I am new here and cannot quite understand why Sprint cannot make a decision - it should be easy. For example, the Curve will be for sale on..... and that is that. Why do we keep getting different answers from different Sprint people?! makes no sense to me!

Speaking from almost eleven yrs as a former customer (left them six months ago), all I can gather is that if it doesn't make sense, then it becomes Sprint's policy. I do agree with you that they should just end all of the speculation and make an official statement with regards to a speciied launch date.
So I've got one of these cruddy Motorolla Q9C phones (through work) which is a useless piece of crap. I've tried every way to make it work like the 8310 I had before switching to Sprint, but it just ain't happening. So long to this pull-based stuff, I want my Curve & some BIS!!
Just an FYI for people looking to purchase the Curve outright and if you need some extra coin. Blackberry offers a trade in program for devices to use towards the purchase of a new blackberry device.
For example I ran my Treo 700wx and my Palm TX through and it gave me $163 to use....

I do that almost everyday They know me by heart at AT&T Went to local Sprint store, big ad is up but the manager says there are none in the warehouse who knows when we'll get it now
Has anyone noticed how Alltel is still looking good to go for shipment of the Curve may 1st. Also on there website they are pre selling them to ship on may 1st.
I wonder if this could be any sign for things to come?
I am starting to wonder if they plan on waiting until they release there first quarter earings for 2008.
