Just thought I'd post a screenshot of what my curve looks like after upgrading to the leaked OS for those who are looking for pictures. The OS itself runs excellent on my blackberry, much faster than 4.5 and for a beta version I'm very impressed. After restoring all my 3rd party apps (about 12) I have 28 free megs of mem. I installed the precision theme from the 8520 and I won't ever go back! This theme allows you to fully utilize the 5.0 OS. If anyone has questions about how I did things, I'd be glad to point you to some very helpful links that I used myself.
Oh, by the way, don't pay attention to the wallpaper lol it was default with the theme. I'll be changing it soon

guys i know this is my first post but dont kill a noob... i backed up my phone... downloaded OS 5 then when i try to update my softwear on my phone through BBM on my PC i get an error saying that i dont have enough memory on my phone to do all the updates. i deleted all of the extra apps i had downloaded that i dont need or use... is there anything else i can do?
Sweet... now only if there was a version for the 8330m....
Zaboo, If I understand the post correctly, the OP has the 8330m. It shows he has Sprint/Nextel and an 8330 (Curve). So to me that is saying that the 5.0 version is working on his 8330m.
I could be wrong and maybe he hasn't updated his profile but I would say it should work with the 8330m. Not for sure though.

Hmm from the original poster, it sounded like he had to take ALL his apps off his phone as he said "After restoring all my 3rd party apps (about 12) I have 28 free megs of mem."
Hi, I don't know everything about this subhject, but I believe that after backing up your OS you then have to wipe or format your phone, clearing everything off. Somewhere in Options, maybe under Security, is the option to Wipe the phone. Then you proceed to install the new 5 OS.
