I don't think 5.0 would ever come out for the 8300/10/20's.... This sucks

Well it uses a litle bit more memory to actually run on the curve. Still looks the same but adds some more functionality.

I don't think its even possible to "trick" your DM to think its a 8330. I guess the reason why it wouldn't work is because mainly of memory on the GSM and CDMA Curves. The 8330 has more memory. The GSM Curves only have 64 mb of internal mem and the 8330 has 96 mb. Big difference in memory IMO.

You don't. It doesn't have near enough memory for it. It's just not possible.

Give people time and maybe (BIG maybe..I dunno for sure) they can turn this into a good 8310 hybrid but it takes time. It just leaked out today.

I believe this would work on the 8330m. The only diff is the meid and the M has more memory than the E for some reason.

I'm going to load it now since I've been using my 8230 for fun (like 4.6 over 4.5. Just seem's smoother to me). So why not. GOING TO DO IT NOW! lol.

The 8330m does not have more memory than an 8330.

That's pretty standard, though, for OS upgrades I've found in the past.

Can't be done on the 8330e from what I know. You have to use Sprint Picture Mail for that.

Just finished the installation. Now bug checking a few apps since I just restored my core apps/versions (and the phone hasn't been used in a few weeks so they're already a few versions behind).

See if they work. Will update as I go.

**UPDATE: I'm already in love with the native Threaded SMS
    - So far Sensobi appears to work (but wont upgrade, but checking permissions), BAppWorld installed fine, etc. Will give more info in about an hour.
