Hey i was calling into rogers retention to see if they can match koodoo mobile's $10 pack for unlimited text, caller id and vm. they did not do that but they offered me a $5 credit towards truely unlimited text for $10. I ensured there was no cap of 2500 messages and she advised me they just started offering this feature in february through retention with no limit. That's good to hear. Did everyone know this? i didn;'t lol.. i was paying $11 for communication pack of caller id, vm, name display and who called and $5 for 500 msgs and 50 pic msgs, now im paying $16 for same thing except unlimited text.. i love it.. my plan looks like this
$10 - 250 daytime, E&W @ 6, & R2R calling
$15- Personal E-mail
$5 -Unlimited text
$11- communicaton pack (caller id, name display, vm, and who called)
system access fee and 911 fee
-------------------------------------
total of $48.45
does anyone have anyting better then this? if so post your details here,
thanks
Can't speak for the OP, but I am not on a contract. I've been a rogers subcriber since the cantel days and have always been on a corp plan. Only time i would have to sign a contract is if i do a hup and i never have as i always by my phones full cost and use the hup elegibility to negotiate price plans.
I have unlimited text and it comes with my $30 a month BlackBerry Pack from Sprint which includes unlmtd data/web & unlmtd text. But it sounds like u guys are on non US carriers.

For Rogers subscribers can use their cell number as an email address like [email protected] and send off in an email, it will appear as a text to the recipient. They will then reply as a text back to you. I have a few people set up in my contacts with their cell number as an email.
