I have a Blackberry 9000 Bold. I send and receive my emails from a private mail server using SMTP and POP3. I also have WiFi access at home as well as a "pay-as-you-go" service from Three, the UK network provider.
Can some kind person tell me what mail client I need to install on my Blackberry to send/receive my emails just as I do from my PC at home?
As I am already paying for WiFi access, it will obviously be cheaper to get my emails that way so any help to get me up and running with email will be most appreciated.
The ultimate routing of email to the device is provided by the carrier itself. There is no such thing, to my knowledge, as "mail client" for the Blackberry; it IS the mail client. Without an adequate data plan, I am afraid you are out of luck.
