My .230 install seems to have gone ok. I used shrink an os but, all the movie trailers and music are still on my phone. What can I do?

Don't worry about. It's not gonna make a big difference.

Why do you want them out?

If your on windows you have to run shrink-a-os as administrator. Right click and run and that will make shrin-a-os work correctly. If you just double click it to open it it will not actually delete anything that you selected to remove

I thought that was just for vista. I am running xp sp3.
Can I shrink the os on the phone?

No it really doesn't add 5 megs of memory. You may see a very minimal gain if you do delete them. At most, 1-2 mb.

To be real honest with you I don't even see how it is possible to add application memory by removing files from the drive?? I could see how it could give you your 5mb back of free disk space, but not application memory.
