I downloaded the Gmail app yesterday for my blackberry 8120 and I keep on getting the "This program requires a working data connection" error message.
I have T-mobile ,I dont have a data plan, and im using wifi.
Could anyone give me step by step instructions on how to fix it?

As far as I am aware, The Gmail app (or google sync, for that matter) won't work without a mobile network data connection. It won't run over wifi.

I think Logicmail will run over wifi - if so, you can just configure your Gmail with it: LogicMail for BlackBerry
