    I have downloaded some app's to my 8900 but they only show up in the download folder. is there a way to move them elsewhere?

    They can be in the "Main" folder location (ie not in any folder). They might be hidden. They might also not be compatible with your specific device so the icon is not displaying.

    To view Hidden Icons:

    Applications Screen > BB Button > Show All

    scroll to the app, hit the BB button, select move, and move it to your desired location.

    there are no hidden apps.

    when I try to move it, I can only move it within the download folder.

    Let be clear here, is the app accessible? Are you able to use the app? Do you just want to move it to your homescreen?

    yes. I can access the app POYNT, but i want it on my homescree.

    go to the downloads folder > blackberry button > Move to Folder > select Home > exit the downloads folder > find the icon > blackberry button > move > move the icon into one of the first 4,5 or 6 icons available on your main home page

    okay.... right click on the app and select move to folder... not Move and move it to the homescreen

    +1 basic BB functions...people are too lazy nowadays...is it so hard to take time and read the 101 lessons...???
